Hi! I’m Francesca. I was born and raised in Nice, France. Growing up, I skied competitively and sketched in my free time. After graduating, I attended Columbia (go Lions!), where I majored in applied mathematics and also spent a lot of time in and around the history and visual arts departments.

My senior applied mathematics thesis research (supervised by Chris Wiggins) focused on the evolution of bias and homophily in professional hierarchies and impact to the percentage of women rising to the upper echelons of certain industries (academia, finance, law, medicine).

I worked in finance for a little over three years (investment banking at Rothschild & co in nyc / private equity at TA Associates in boston, where I sourced our investment in Kline Hill Partners).

I transitioned into tech when I began investing at Hummingbird in 2025. After falling in love with sf, I joined Audacious’s investment team in early 2026.

I love meeting talented engineers and entrepreneurs building at the frontier, which is one of the reasons I feel privileged to work in venture. I also generally love meeting people, so please drop me a note (francesca@audacious.co!) if you’d like to grab coffee or go on a walk :)
